Hiding Grades in Assignments

 

 

This process helps in preventing a single grade from publishing automatically. It is most useful if most of your grades publish automatically, but you have a specific assignment where you would prefer that not to be the case.

 

 

  1. Publish the assignment by clicking on
    “Publish” button

 

 

 

2. Click on “Grades” in the left-hand sidebar; and find the assignment in the Gradebook

 

 

3. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right side of the assignment’s column header to view the drop-down menu

 

 

4. Select “Grade Posting Policy” from the drop-down menu

 

 

5. Change the “Post Grades” policy from “Automatically” to “Manually”
6. Click on “Save”

 

 

7. To apply this policy to all assignments, go to “Grades” click on the gear icon on the top right- hand side and select “Grade Posting Policy” tab

 

 

 

8. After selecting a posting policy under “Grade Posting Policy” tab, click on “Apply Settings“
